Hernandez logged five hits for the third time in his career and logged his second triple of the season. The performance was Hernandez's first multi-hit game since Aug. 21. Since the start of August, Hernandez is 33-for-108 (.306) with six homers, 18 RBI and 20 runs.

Freeman notched his first multi-homer performance of the campaign, pushing the first baseman over 20 home runs for a fourth consecutive year. Freeman has gone yard in three of his last four games, going 6-for-15 (.295) with 10 RBI and four runs scored during that stretch. The 34-year-old boasts a .880 OPS in 549 plate appearances.

Flaherty (11-6) picked up the win Monday against Arizona, allowing one run on five hits and three walks across 5.2 innings. He struck out seven.
Flaherty walked more than two batters for the first time this season, but he only allowed one of eight baserunners to score. The 28-year-old has struck out seven or more batters in four of six starts with LA, tallying a 3.18 ERA and a 1.29 ERA across 34 innings. Flaherty is tentatively scheduled to close out a two-start week against the Guardians this weekend.

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said Monday that Kershaw will need to wear a walking boot and is likely to require scans on his injured left big toe, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.
Kershaw was able to play catch Sunday just one day after landing on the 15-day injured list, which seemed like a good sign. However, the severity of the injury and potential timetable for Kershaw's return remains uncertain. The veteran left-hander will be eligible for activation Sept. 15.

Barnes' three-hit game was a small bright spot in an otherwise awful performance for the Dodgers. The backup catcher has gone 5-for-8 over three contests since he returned from a fractured big toe sustained in mid-August. Through 139 plate appearances, Barnes is slashing .266/.336/.315 with one home run, 11 RBI, 10 runs scored and two stolen bases. He is unlikely to challenge Will Smith for a starting role, but Barnes should be expected in the lineup any time the Dodgers have a day game immediately after a night game.

Dodgers' Justin Wrobleski: Left out to dry Sunday

Wrobleski (1-2) allowed 10 runs on 10 hits and two walks while striking out two over 5.1 innings, taking the loss Sunday versus the Diamondbacks.
Wrobleski completed five frames for the fifth time in six major-league starts, but this was an arduous effort. He gave up an eight-run rally in the second inning, a solo shot to Eugenio Suarez in the third and one more run in the sixth before his exit. Wrobleski is now at a 6.82 ERA, 1.38 WHIP and 20:11 K:BB across 30.1 innings in the majors this year. With none of the Dodgers' injured starters expected back before mid-September, Wrobleski is likely to get at least one more start in the majors, which lines up to be at home versus the Guardians.

Graterol will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Oklahoma City on Tuesday, and he may require only a couple of appearances with the affiliate before getting the green light to rejoin the Dodgers. Kershaw remains without a definitive timeline to be reinstated from the 15-day injured list, but the fact that he was able to do some throwing one day after being deactivated and two days after exiting his start against the Diamondbacks with a bone spur in his left big toe bodes well for a quick return. Manager Dave Roberts noted Saturday that the toe issue makes it difficult for Kershaw to move around, so the veteran southpaw may need to prove that he can comfortably field his position before the Dodgers have a better sense of when he might be activated. The Dodgers called up lefty Justin Wrobleski from Triple-A Oklahoma City on Sunday to fill Kershaw's spot in the rotation.

The Dodgers recalled Grove from Triple-A Oklahoma City ahead of Sunday's 14-3 loss to the Diamondbacks. He was used out of the bullpen in the loss, covering 1.2 innings and striking out a batter while allowing two runs (one earned) on three hits.
Grove was summoned from the bullpen in the sixth inning while the Diamondbacks were already sitting on a 10-3 lead with one out and a runner on first. Though he induced an inning-ending double play and went on to complete the seventh inning, Grove's usage in a blowout indicates that the Dodgers don't envision him filling a high-leverage role out of the bullpen down the stretch.

The Dodgers recalled Pages from Triple-A Oklahoma City ahead of Sunday's 14-3 loss to the Diamondbacks. He came off the bench and went 0-for-3 while playing six innings in right field.
After the Diamondbacks put up eight runs in the second inning to effectively ice the game, Dodgers manager Dave Roberts waved the white flag, pulling Mookie Betts and multiple other key hitters from the lineup early. Pages came on to replace Betts, but the rookie outfielder's opportunities are expected to be far more limited in September than they were earlier in the season, when he was essentially a full-time player for the Dodgers from mid-April through mid-August. Along with Betts and All-Star Teoscar Hernandez, trade-deadline acquisition Tommy Edman will likely handle an everyday role in the Los Angeles outfield, leaving little room for Pages.
