SAN JOSE, Calif. – The Pack remain undefeated at the Silicon Valley Classic I, defeating Fordham, 13-7 and Portland State, 3-2.

Game Notables:

• Haley Painter reached base in both games, bringing her on-base streak to 23 consecutive games.
• Chelie Senini recorded a hit in both games, bringing her hit streak to 12 games.
• Taryn Jenkins had six RBI on the day, all coming in the first game versus Fordham. The last time a Pack player had a six RBI game came on April 28, 2019 versus San Diego State.
• Haley Painter had four RBI on the day, all coming from the Fordham game.
• Chelie Senini's six-hit day put her 6^thall-time in Nevada career hits (203)
• Aaliyah Jenkins claims sole possession of 10^thall-time in Nevada career RBI (105)
• Bridgette Gilliano jumped to 7^thall-time in Nevada career stolen bases (32)
• Madison Clark moves into 9^thall-time Nevada career stolen bases (27)
• Senini's career batting average improved to .350, placing her 6^thall-time in career batting average.
• Tyra Clary, typically a relief pitcher, started against Portland State and pitched a complete game. This is Clary's third collegiate complete game.

Fordham (W, 13-7)
After a short rain delay, the Pack offense wasted no time in the first inning starting with an RBI single from Charli Hawkins followed by a three-run homer from Taryn Jenkins.

Fordham starting their scoring with a leadoff homer in the bottom of the first and a sac fly to cut the Pack in half, 4-2.

Haley Painter hits her fourth home run of the season in the top of the second in the form of a two-run shot over the right field wall, bringing home Chelie Senini. After another rain delay, T. Jenkins picked up where she left off with an RBI single to right field plating Bridgette Gilliano and the Pack extends the lead, 6-2.

Haley Painter nearly completes the cycle with a two RBI triple coming in the third, scoring Senini and Madison Clark. Taryn Jenkins has her second home run of the game, tallying six RBI in the game, and plating Painter. The Pack headed to the bottom of the third with a nine run lead, 11-2.

In the bottom of the third, the Ramscut the lead down to five.

Maile Olsen got the offense started in the top of the fourth with a leadoff single, and advanced to second on a fielding error. M. Clark followed up reaching on a fielding error which brought up Senini who singled and Olsen scored on the throw, extending the lead, 12-6.

Gabby Herrera hit the second triple of the game. Aaliyah Jenkins double down the left field line scored Herrera and the Pack headed to the bottom of the fifth up, 13-6.

Taryn Irimata (1-1) got her second collegiate start. After giving up a leadoff home run in the first, Irimata settled in going 4.1 innings, striking out four, walking two, and giving up five earned runs on nine hits.

Blake Craft came in for relief in the fifth. Craft finished out the game going 2.2 innings, striking out three, no walks and no runs on one hit.

Portland State (W, 3-2)
The Pack loaded the bases in the bottom of the first with walks drawn from Painter, Gilliano, and T. Jenkins. Herrera knocked Painter and Gilliano in with an single to left field and the Pack took the lead 2-0.

In the bottom of the second, M. Clark singled and stole second setting Senini up for an RBI single to score M. Clark, extending the lead to three.

In the top of the fourth, Portland State scored two on a Vikings triple.

Tyra Clary (1-1) got her first start of the season for the Pack, as she has only come in as a relief pitcher this season. Clary pitched her third complete collegiate game striking out two, walking one, and allowing two runs on three hits.

The Pack rounds out the Silicon Valley Classic I tournament with the final game tomorrow, Sunday, Feb. 18 at 11 a.m. facing Seattle U.
