I can’t believe how wonderful the staff was here. My son had an acute lung injury and they called over the X-ray tech from another location who arrived within 15 minutes, they acted quickly and gave him a medication he needed right there in the office and a breathing treatment. Everyone from the front desk, the nurse and PA were all amazing. They saw brought us right back to a room and the whole visit lasted under an hour. If I had gone to the ED, we would still be out in a chair waiting. They even sent us home with a nebulizer machine to help keep him out of the hospital. Blown away by this terrific experience. Thanks again everyone, you were great! So thankful!

I had a billing issue with this urgent care that has since been resolved to my satisfaction. It doesn't seem like I can take down my earlier review (nor was I asked to) so I am posting a 5 star review to make up for it. Aside from this billing problem, I did have a good experience with them.

I hope injured my finger at work. It was swollen with visible pus just beneath the cuticle. The female PA prescribed an antibiotic, but refused to lance the area. I was sent home with nothing other a prescription. The paperwork I took to work did not advise any work restrictions. My injury was caused by conveyor rollers and the female PA did not see fit to offer any work restrictions. I took the antibiotic as prescribed, but the swelling continued. On Monday I went to the U of R. My nail had started to separate from my cuticle as a result of continuous swelling over the weekend. The female physician at the U of R immediately diagnosed my condition and would not allow me to undergo another x-ray. She reserved a seat for me and patiently explained the procedure that she recommended. She asked if I would mind if a resident performed the procedure. The female resident did an excellent job of numbing both sides of my finger with injections of lidocaine. She then proceeded to lance the area with a scalpel. The physician was there through the procedure and talked to me so as to distract me. I was sent home with discharge instructions, gauze, tape, and an antibiotic dressing. The staff at the U of R emergency department were attentive from the very beginning. From check-in to the pharmacy my experience was excellent! I would never recommend that anyone visit the “urgent care” on Dewey Avenue in Greece. The incompetence that I encountered could very well have cost me my right hand.

I asked before each test they gave me if it would be an extra charge. Each time I was told, "No, it will be covered under the visit."Got a bill in the mail weeks later. Individual charges for tests were added. One was even billed as two different tests for one swab, which I was not told would count as two different tests. When I called billing support, they said that "covered under the visit" meant that it would be billed under that visit. So every time when I asked if it would be an extra charge, they just lied to me.Billing department was no help. Said there was no way a new bill would be made. Lesson learned. Get everything in writing, because this place is only looking to rob you blind.

PA Tuttle should not be allowed to practice in NYS. She sat and smiled and pressed on my pus filled finger and showed very little interest in doing anything other than writng a prescription. The antibiotic she prescribed did not prevent my nail from separating from my cuticle as swelling continued over the weekend. I thank God for Dr. Nasser and the staff of U of R. My finger was lanced and wrapped in gauze and an antibiotic. Dr. Nasser sent me home with work restrictions that inform my employer that I cannot use my right hand for a week.

Worst service ever, also I was told I had to pay 200.00 to even be seen. I paid 200.00. They gave me a splint that was put on wrong. I was given no pain medication and no receipt . Then I end up in emergency hospital and they question who put my split on and of course I said five star on Dewey ave. They were pissed. My fingers lost circulation and they had to reset my already broken wrist. I got another bill for 91.81 and they said I never paid 200.00 and I paid with a check. That could not be possible cause I don't have a bank account. Worst place ever now after calling billing and she said she would file a grievance report . I get a bill from five star then one from collection . So not right I was told I was going to be refunded.
